Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Coordinates resident care through departmental and appropriate staff committee meetings.</li> <li>Ensures that staffing is adequate to meet State and Federal requirements.</li> <li>Guides nursing department in adherence to all state and federal regulations.</li> <li>Evaluates and disciplines nursing personnel according to HCF policy.</li> <li>Supervises the maintenance of nursing and medical treatments and related services executed by nursing personnel.</li> <li>Participates in the QA process.</li> <li>Ensures availability of nursing supplies and equipment.</li> <li>Assumes responsibility for maintaining his/her own professional competence.</li> <li>Verifies that the nursing personnel have valid and current licenses as required by the State in which they work.</li> </ul>
