We are committed to continuous improvement and offer opportunities for team members to provide feedback and suggestions.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Description of Position</strong></p> <p>This is a full-time, remote position (travel for clients, occasional meetings, etc. required), for self-starters who are able to focus, complete work, and communicate effectively through virtual platforms (e.g., Zoom, email, phone, etc.).</p> <p>You will be responsible for managing all aspects of a portfolio of evaluations projects, including multi-tasking, managing your own team and their progress, and ensuring deliverables are completed within designated timeframes and budgets based upon your organization and planning.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><u>Project Management</u></p> <ul> <li>Manage team portfolio of simultaneous evaluation projects including developing and monitoring project timelines and budgets<br /><br /></li> <li>Maintain and improve client relationships using strong interpersonal communication skills<br /><br /></li> <li>Ensure team compliance with IRB protocols and general data security<br /><br /></li> </ul> <p><u>Team Management &amp; Leadership</u></p> <ul> <li>Oversee tasks delegated by evaluation associate and ensure quality and adherence to deadlines<br /><br /></li> <li>Create and maintain an efficient communication system amongst the project team, Senior Evaluators, Directors, and CEO<br /><br /></li> <li>Oversee team professional development plans and support employees in growth and development and conduct employee performance reviews<br /><br /></li> <li>Participate in hiring (i.e., screening resumes, job interviews)</li> </ul> <p><u>Business Development</u></p> <ul> <li>Attend client meetings and assess and support work to develop new business<br /><br /></li> <li>Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs)</li> </ul> <p><u>Evaluation Design</u></p> <ul> <li>Develop and oversee evaluation design, including the methodological and theoretical data frameworks of evaluation projects<br /><br /></li> <li>Work collaboratively with clients to develop and monitor their project including creating logic models, benchmark/milestone tables, and output and outcome metrics and targets<br /><br /></li> <li>Conduct literature reviews to identify appropriate evaluation methods and maintain best practices in the field<br /><br /></li> </ul> <p><u>Data Collection, Data Analysis, and Data Management</u></p> <ul> <li>Develop and oversee evaluation instrument development, including surveys, evaluation forms, interview protocols, focus group protocols, assessment rubrics, etc.<br /><br /></li> <li>Analyze quantitative data by applying appropriate analysis techniques<br /><br /></li> </ul> <p><u>Deliverable Development</u></p> <ul> <li>Oversee deliverable development, including concept maps, report outlines, and development of visuals<br /><br /></li> <li>Edit team deliverables, including reviewing analyses and writing done by staff and provide feedback on their work</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <p><u>Education and Experience</u></p> <ul> <li>Master&rsquo;s degree or higher, preferable in social sciences/education or related fields<br /><br /></li> <li>5 years full-time professional experience in program evaluation<br /><br /></li> <li>5 years full-time professional experience in quantitative and qualitative research design and analysis<br /><br /></li> <li>3 years of experience as a project manager in research, consulting, or social service environment with clear experience managing people and simultaneous project deadlines<br /><br /></li> <li>Demonstrated experience with project planning, project direction, fiscal management, client relationships, staff supervision, report preparation, oral presentations, and proposal development<br /><br /></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;<u>Knowledge and Skills</u></p> <ul> <li>Strong R and Excel and statistical analysis methods<br /><br /></li> <li>Familiarity with experimental and quasi-experimental research and evaluation methods<br /><br /></li> <li>Experience with qualitative methods and analysis, including software such as NVivo and Dedoose<br /><br /></li> <li>Experience conducting evaluation in academic and applied contexts<br /><br /></li> <li>Experience conducting experimental and quasi-experimental evaluation designs<br /><br /></li> <li>Experience in project management including monitoring multiple timelines, simultaneous deadlines, budgets, and writing proposals<br /><br /></li> <li>Experience conceptualizing program theory through the use of logic models, theories of change, or system maps<br /><br /></li> <li>Experience using online survey management platforms (i.e., Alchemer, Survey Monkey, Qualtrics)<br /><br /></li> <li>Experience developing evaluation forms, surveys, and focus group and interview protocols<br /><br /></li> <li>Strong Microsoft Suite skills<br /><br /></li> <li>Able to manage multiple large-scale, multi-faceted projects simultaneously and meet deadlines<br /><br /></li> <li>Able to seek out resources to locate and analyze data from secondary data sources</li> </ul> <p><u>Preferred Experience</u></p> <ul> <li>Google dashboard, Tableau, BigData, data science, Python</li> </ul> <p><u>Compensation</u></p> <ul> <li>The&nbsp;<u>starting</u>&nbsp;salary range for this position has been established at $77,000 to $90,000 and is commensurate with degree, skills, experience, and number or years&rsquo; experience working in mid or senior level position as an evaluator managing clients and projects<br /><br /></li> <li>Opportunities to earn bonuses beyond the base salary are also available.
