Project Manager

Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintain organization&rsquo;s effectiveness and efficiency by defining, delivering, and supporting strategic plans for implementing information technologies;</li> <li>Recommend information technology strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes, identifying problems, evaluating trends, and anticipating requirements;</li> <li>Adhere to established capital and project reporting governance and compliance requirements;</li> <li>Accomplish financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective action;</li> <li>Develop a detailed project plan including schedule, resource requirements, and costing according to documented procedures;</li> <li>Conduct Kick-Off and regularly schedule core team meetings;</li> <li>Facilitate the escalation and management of business issues;</li> <li>Manage the project team on a day-to-day basis and provide all required instructions and directions to ensure identified deliverables meet requirements and are completed on time and within budget;</li> <li>Identify and manage risks throughout the project; and</li> <li>Maintain communication with all parties associated with the project.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field required;</li> <li>Minimum of 10 years&rsquo; experience managing information technology and/or business improvement projects;</li> <li>Proven work experience in project management in the information technology sector, preferably retail;</li> <li>Excellent leadership skills and extensive experience managing project delivery involving multi-tiered systems integration;</li> <li>Ability to gain management support and work effectively at all levels across the organization and across departments within the organization;</li> <li>Experience with an ERP implementation is an asset;</li> <li>Strong business writing skills with the ability to build and document a timeline;</li> <li>Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies;</li> <li>Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;</li> <li>Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills;</li> <li>Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; and</li> <li>Holding a PRINCE2 and/or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.</li> </ul>
