Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Support the President, Canadian Retail and EVP, Canadian Food Procurement &amp; Marketing, in identifying business opportunities within the Canadian retail market, across all segments of the value chain;</li> <li>Independently drive analyses and shape insights with guidance from the President and EVP;</li> <li>Ensure dashboard reporting is in place for all key Canadian retail initiatives;</li> <li>Support a 3-year planning process for Canadian retail; gather relevant data and insights from supporting departments, such as Marketing, and Business Development;</li> <li>Liaise and collaborate with departments at all levels within the organization;</li> <li>Conduct research, collect and analyze data for projects, reports and documents;</li> <li>Co-ordinate project-based work for Key Initiatives or Special Projects as applicable;</li> <li>Monitor and flag upcoming deadlines for department members; bring forward items for follow up in a timely manner; and</li> <li>Build, modify and format presentation documents in Visio, Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Minimum 3-5 years&rsquo; experience in Business Analytics or Insights;</li> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field is strongly preferred;</li> <li>Project Management, and Category Management experience is considered an asset;</li> <li>Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio;</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to communicate in a highly professional manner, both verbally and written, with all levels of the organization, and external clients;</li> <li>Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to prioritize effectively and efficiently;</li> <li>Ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion;</li> <li>Detail-oriented, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy;</li> <li>Must be highly motivated with an ability to manage large volumes of work.</li> <li>A high level of energy, enthusiasm and determination;</li> <li>Ability to work independently, and take initiative as necessary; and</li> <li>Flexible to work additional hours as required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Reports To:</strong>&nbsp;President, Canadian Retail</p> <p>&nbsp;<strong>A competitive salary is being offered along with opportunities to learn, develop and advance throughout the organization.
