Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Assist all business units and corporate departments in identifying and developing business processes and requirements.</li> <li>Meet with business stakeholders to analyze current processes, consider future requirements and gaps that exist between current system capabilities and those requirements.</li> <li>Develops system test plans and conduct thorough system testing when required, with complete documentation of test cases and results.</li> <li>Create training and user reference materials as well as conducts training to support system and business process changes.</li> <li>Investigates and proposes all viable options to key business representatives for large-scale initiatives by assessing technical and business impacts and organizational change readiness, gathering complete cost estimates, and defining work required, considering all known aspects for each option.</li> <li>Meet deliverables across the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for assigned enhancement requests (ER&rsquo;s) and major projects</li> <li>Based on in-depth understanding of application functionality, designs and implements optimal configuration of packaged applications to meet business needs</li> <li>Follow defined change management procedures based on defined standards.</li> <li>Provide mentorship and guidance to Business Analysts by developing their knowledge of business processes and applications, supporting new initiatives, reinforcing standards and the importance of creating trusting relationships with both internal and external business clients.</li> <li>Manage priorities and escalates conflicts as needed to meet deadlines.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Post-secondary degree or diploma in the field of Business Analysis, Information Management Systems or related discipline.</li> <li>Must possess 5-10 years of Business Analyst or System Analyst experience.</li> <li>Previous Industry experience in Retail, Distribution, or Inventory Management with broad knowledge of current industry best practices and the technologies that enable such practices is preferred.</li> <li>Strong computer skills, specifically Windows-based applications, and practical knowledge with business and technical requirements analysis.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of software design, development and database fundamentals with a basic understanding of model-driven architecture.</li> <li>Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li> <li>Must be self-motivated with proven organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills.</li> <li>Advanced communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills.</li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to gain stakeholder support, with the ability to communicate and provide strong customer service to all levels within the organization.</li> <li>Experience with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) considered an asset.</li> <li>Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and assignments while adhering to strict timelines.</li> <li>Previous experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;&nbsp; Gibraltar House, 77 Main Street, Winnipeg MB<strong><br /></strong></p> <p><strong>Reports to:&nbsp;</strong>Manager, Business Architecture</p> <p><strong>&nbsp;We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.</strong> A competitive salary is being offered along with opportunities to learn, develop and advance throughout the organization.</p>
