Responsibilities: <p><strong>Your Role:</strong></p> &bull; Receive, prepare, and process prescriptions in-person, by telephone or by fax request;<br />&bull; Prioritize prescription orders for verification by Pharmacist or Registered Technician;<br />&bull; Assist the Pharmacist by triaging customers in order of urgency;<br />&bull; Manage compliance packaging, remote distribution, and MS&amp;E Services;<br />&bull; Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date patient profiles;<br />&bull; Greet customers promptly, and in a courteous manner, both in-person and on the telephone;<br />&bull; Effectively organize remote distribution services for efficient processing, preparation, and distribution;<br />&bull; Compile documentation for shipments distributed to remote communities;<br />&bull; Maintain appropriate levels of Rx, OTC, and supply inventory, ordering from preferred suppliers based on business needs and delivery schedule;<br />&bull; Comply with Store Operating Procedures as defined by HP&amp;S Division;<br />&bull; Refer patient health concerns or physician inquiries to the Pharmacist;<br />&bull;Assist in training of other employees to improve the customer service capacity of the pharmacy team.
Requirements: <p><strong>Desired Skills &amp; Experience:</strong></p> &bull; Previous pharmacy experience in a high-volume dispensary;<br />&bull; Formal training or certification as a Pharmacy Assistant;<br />&bull;Excellent customer service skills;<br />&bull; Thorough capability with all aspects of pharmacy software programs, including prescription entry and inventory management (Kroll is considered an asset);<br />&bull; Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interpret prescriptions, and complete required documentation;<br />&bull; Ability to work independently and as part of a team;<br />&bull; Experience with compliance packaging and familiarity with NIHB pharmacy provider requirements is an asset;<br />&bull; Ability to thrive in a diverse environment with many cultural differences;<br />&bull; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, and;<br />&bull; Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.<br /><br /> <p><strong>A competitive salary is being offered along with opportunities to learn, develop and advance throughout the organization.
