Overview: <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, strategic, and compassionate </span><strong>Billing Manager</strong><span style="font-weight: 400;"> to lead our Billing department. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an exceptional financial experience for our guests.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is a leadership role for someone who takes ownership, thrives on improving systems, and is driven by results. You will oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) performance, lead a growing team, and build scalable processes that support the continued growth of the practice.</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">You will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization while elevating both team performance and the guest experience.</span></p>
Responsibilities: <h3><strong>Revenue Cycle Leadership</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Oversee end-to-end billing operations, including charge capture, claim submission, payment posting, and collections.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Monitor and take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as AR days, denial rates, and collections.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure compliance with coding standards, payer requirements, and regulatory guidelines.</span></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Accounts Receivable (AR) Oversight</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Own AR performance, including timely follow-up on outstanding claims and balances.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Drive strategies to reduce aging AR and improve cash flow.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Oversee resolution of complex billing discrepancies, denials, and appeals.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure accurate payment posting and reconciliation of financial transactions.</span></li> </ul> <h3><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Development</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Lead, coach, and develop Billing team members, fostering accountability and growth.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Establish clear expectations, workflows, and performance standards aligned with EOS.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews.</span></li> </ul> <br /> <h3><strong>Guest Financial Experience</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Ensure a high-touch, compassionate approach to all guest billing interactions.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Oversee resolution of escalated billing concerns with professionalism and care.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Collaborate with front office and clinical teams to ensure a seamless experience.</span></li> </ul> <br /> <h3><strong>Process Improvement &amp; Strategy</strong></h3> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve accuracy and efficiency.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Partner with leadership to develop reporting tools and financial tracking systems aligned with EOS.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Standardize and document billing processes to support scalability and consistency.</span></li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare finance (leadership experience preferred).</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong understanding of insurance claims, reimbursement processes, and AR management.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with financial data.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Excellent communication skills with a compassionate, guest-centered approach.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Comfortable working with EMRs, billing platforms, and spreadsheets.</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Demonstrates TWC&rsquo;s core values: Entrepreneurial mindset, Growth-focused, Extreme Attention to Detail, Compassion, and Exceeding Expectations.</span></li> </ul>
