Overview: <div>We have an opportunity in New York, NY seeking to hire a&nbsp;<strong>Brand Manager&nbsp;</strong>to join an extraordinary team. The Brand Manager for Entertainment properties (non-sports) is responsible for the profit and loss of the entertainment product line. The Brand Manager determines the product portfolio and ensures products are high-quality, delivered on-time and within budget.</div>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Create the yearly product release plan.</li> <li>Create the forecast of sales volume with sales team and profitability targets with finance team.</li> <li>Define the composition for each product and lead a cross-functional product development team to achieve product development objectives.</li> <li>Work with sales to identify the SKUs needed for maximum revenue while minimizing SKU proliferation and COGS.</li> <li>Deliver the forecasted revenue and profit within the approved budget.</li> <li>Work with Licensing team to ensure rights are acquired as needed to maximize product profitability.</li> <li>Act as a point of contact for the licensor, if applicable, ensuring that all product and adheres to the brand guidelines of the licensor.</li> <li>Interact with consumers, retailers, and distributors to understand their desires and the drivers of product purchase behavior.</li> <li>Prepare presentations for line reviews, customer meetings and corporate reviews.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent in marketing, business, or related field.</li> <li>3+ years brand or product management experience.</li> <li>Solid business and product development background.</li> <li>Consumer products experience preferred.</li> <li>Strong leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Proven ability to multi-task, juggle multiple projects and effectively determine priorities.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills &ndash; written and oral.</li> <li>Strong computer skills &ndash; Word, PowerPoint and Excel essential.</li> <li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to think creatively and strategically while also being able to execute flawlessly.</li> <li>Knowledge of entertainment properties and a knack for pop culture.</li> <li>Knowledge of collectible products a plus.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>EOE</p>
