Responsibilities: <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">As the Dining Room Manager, you will have the chance each day to positively impact lives by ensuring that every Touchmark resident and guest has an exceptional dining experience, every time. <br /></span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">You will lead, mentor, and develop our team of dining room staff, teaching them proper dining room etiquette, meal handling procedures, and customer service skills so that every experience in our dining room meets and exceeds the </span><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Touchmark Gold Standard.&nbsp;<br /></span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">This role will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure that all of our resident&rsquo;s needs and preferences are being met.&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;">If you are looking for an opportunity to use your dining experience to enrich other people&rsquo;s lives - while enjoying a corporate benefits package, a position that allows you to get home every evening at a decent hour, and advancement opportunities - we would love to meet you!</li> </ul> <span data-darkreader-inline-color=""><br />Our Four Season&rsquo;s dining room is open daily to residents from 7:30 am and all dining room staff have completed the evening by 7:30 pm. Requirements: <ul> <li>Have a commitment to Touchmark&rsquo;s values (hospitality, compassion, excellence, teamwork, and integrity), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends, and givers.</li> <li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.</li> <li>Have at least one year of supervisory experience in a restaurant setting, experience in senior living is a plus.</li> <li>Possess or willing to get Washington State Food Worker card.</li> <li>Possess or willing to get a mixologist permit.</li> <li>Be willing to work weekends, holidays, and special events.</li> <li>Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.</li> <li>Be able to lift and carry trays of food and beverages, and stay on your feet for long periods of time.</li> <li>Be able to read, write, and speak English.</li> <li>Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors.</li> </ul>
