Overview: Touchmark at The Ranch is Prescott&rsquo;s leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities.&nbsp; We are currently seeking the right person to join our growing team as a&nbsp;<strong>Licensed Practical Nurse</strong>.
Responsibilities: <p style="font-weight: 400;"><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in our assisted living and advanced assisted living neighborhoods to receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members!</span><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">&nbsp;</span></p> <p style="font-weight: 400;"><span data-darkreader-inline-color="">Some responsibilities of this position are to: Dispense, administer and record medications in the electronic medication administration system; perform treatments per physician&rsquo;s order if needed; assess the health status of residents as outlined in the State Nursing Standards and Boarding Home Regulations; assist in completing monthly summaries and other documentation; assist with orientation of new associates; attend required in-service education programs and work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident.<br /><br />This is a full-time position from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. alternating every other weekend.<br /></span></p>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Possess a current LPN license from an accredited school</li> <li>Possess or willing to obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance, CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, and Arizona Food Handler Certification</li> <li>Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment</li> <li>Enjoy being part of a team</li> <li>Possess a willingness to continue learning and improving skills</li> <li>Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors</li> </ul>
