Overview: Touchmark, a Portland-based award-winning developer, owner, and operator of premier retirement communities in the western United States and Canada is excited to bring a new community to Portland&rsquo;s lushly forested West Hills.&nbsp;
Responsibilities: <ul type="disc"> <li>Working closely with the leadership team at the community, as well as the accounting team at Touchmark&rsquo;s central office</li> <li>Oversee all business office and primary accounting functions</li> <li>Processing payroll (semi-monthly)</li> <li>Oversee financial reporting and budgeting for the community</li> <li>Assist with monthly invoicing as well as some accounts receivable and payable</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul type="disc"> <li>An associate&rsquo;s degree in business administration, accounting, human resources, or related field; &nbsp;bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred; or equivalent experience</li> <li>Experience processing payroll</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office applications, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills</li> <li>Prior exposure to computerized accounting software; experience with RealPage property management software is a plus</li> <li>Excellent time-management skills, flexibility and the ability to prioritize among multiple and/or competing tasks</li> <li>A genuine interest in working with a senior population</li> <li>Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, and staff members.</li> <li>Enjoy being part of a team</li> <li>An above-average level of attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>A commitment to Touchmark&rsquo;s values (Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity and Compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers</li> </ul>
