Office Manager

Overview: <p style="margin: 0in; margin-bottom: .0001pt; line-height: 16.5pt; vertical-align: baseline;"><span style="font-size: 11.5pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif;">The Accountant, Office Manager will report to the VP of Finance and will be responsible for various accounting duties including: processing and recording daily accounting transactions, Cash Forecasting and Management, Billing and Invoicing, Account Payable and Vendor Management. Some HR duties include assistance with new hire on-boarding and knowledge of company Insurances and management. </span></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepare and process accounts payable and related reporting</li> <li>Prepare and process accounts receivable and Cash and related reporting</li> <li>Prepare and process monthly Billing to Clients</li> <li>Prepare and post journal entries to the GL in accordance with GAAP and accrual accounting standards.</li> <li>Reconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end close.</li> <li>Assist with preparation and processing of various schedules including account reconciliation</li> <li>Assist with general accounting and financial reporting</li> <li>Manage all office supplies and company parties</li> <li>Assist VP of Finance with other various duties</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of accounting experience</li> <li>Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (intermediate or higher level Excel user). Pivot and Vlookup a plus.</li> <li>Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus</li> </ul> <p><strong>Abilities/Competencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must have excellent communication skills, written and verbal</li> <li>Organizational skills, patience and the ability to effectively communicate with others</li> <li>Ability to gather information, evaluate options and offer viable solutions</li> </ul>
