Overview: <p>The <strong>Human Resources Manager</strong> carries out all functions of the day to day operations of human resources and provides support to the management team. The position leads and/or assists with the development and implementation of policies and processes in employee relations, recruitment, training and development, retention, payroll, state and federal compliance and safety. All the for mentioned is important, however what is equally, if not more important, is to help True Velocity grow as a whole in size and success.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Responds to employee relations matters such as employee complaints and harassment allegations in conjunction with the COO. Assists managers and supervisors in drafting disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans, to help the company and Managers grow.</li> <li>In partnership with management, assists with tracking and managing to company KPIs.</li> <li>Administers employee benefit programs and educates employees on aspects of the Company benefit programs, as the company grows.</li> <li>Leads the efforts in recruiting for open positions including, screening job applicants, interviewing and coordination staffing partners. Verifies references and processes background checks.</li> <li>When necessary and as the company grows, lead safety efforts in partnership with Senior Leadership. Actively participates in safety committee meetings.</li> <li>Assists in employee event coordination and quarterly bulletins / memos building company culture.</li> <li>Process payroll to ensure all payroll entries are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits and process.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned, while following company, safety, quality policies and procedures.</li> <li>Overall HR generalist duties working with the executive team to help the business grow into a very successful one in the manufacturing industry.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Human Resources Management, or related field.</li> <li>5-7 years of experience in a Human Resources capacity minimum. Background in employment law or other government compliance regulations is preferred.</li> <li>Must be computer literate and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and familiarity with HRIS.</li> <li>Must have experience working in a start-up environment or equal size.</li> <li>Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment and decision making that is consistent with company standards and procedures.</li> <li>Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both oral and written communications.</li> <li>Self-directed, detail oriented, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Having a business and entrepreneurial mindset is preferred.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>EOE</p>
