Overview: <p>Supports operating units by implementing human resource programs, training, and solving performance problems. Serves as an advisor to THP managers and executive leadership on a broad range of highly complex issues related to staffing, training, retention, counseling initiatives, operations, and management.&nbsp;</p> <p>Reports to Chief Executive Officer.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Prepares and conducts full cycle recruiting, new hire on-boarding, orientation and training programs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducts and analyzes exit interviews; recommending changes.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; schedule management conferences with employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Works closely with General Counsel to ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records and personnel file documentation.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Maintains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system; keeping past and current records.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Manage general employment life cycle activities for assigned locations/functions including on boarding, assesses disability/ FMLA leave management &amp; termination.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Oversight of bi-weekly payroll, ensures all benefits, and deductions have been allocated appropriately for a staff of 100+.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Manage employee relations issues, partnering with legal and senior management as appropriate.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Provide counsel, recommendations and support to leadership team in managing performance, including coaching, counseling and partnership on performance plan development.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Maintain HR information and manage relevant employee processes in HRIS system, developing reports as needed for senior leadership.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, HSAs, life insurance, STD/LTD, COBRA in accordance with HR policies. Manage, benchmark/ recommends benefit changes in a timely fashion, as well as conducts annual open enrollment presentations to staff.&nbsp; Monthly reconciliation of benefits package related invoices.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Ensure consistent implementation of HR programs and company-wide policies, procedures and guidelines.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Develop and execute a wide range of employee events (examples include employee picnics, employee appreciation activities, wellness fair/flu shot events, holiday party).</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate the performance management process. Provide advice and counsel to both managers and employees to solve employee relations problems and assist with coaching needs. Conduct stay and exit interviews as needed and recommend solutions that promote positive employee relations.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Acts as liaison with management team in accurate supervision of direct reports time and attendance keeping, assists finance department in execution of biweekly payroll for 70+ employees.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Works with executive team to develop process improvement, staffing, training and development, employee relations, compensation and benefits audit and general administration of HR practices.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Works with senior management and Finance to conduct compensation reviews and analyzes job classifications as appropriate.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Master&rsquo;s preferred.</li> <li>5+ years in Human Resources, with exposure to recruitment, relationship management with an executive team and entry level staff.</li> <li>Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification required.</li> </ul>
