Join us!</p> <p><strong>WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT</strong></p> <p>As a Project Coordinator, you will&nbsp;deliver successful mechanical installation projects that make lives and communities better. Your oversight through all phases of construction will make partners want to work with you again and produce impressive financial results.&nbsp;</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Receives, stores and issues tools, material and equipment and maintains records of tools and equipment issued and returned (Manually or via computer).</li> <li>Assist in tool and equipment inspection (Manually or via computer).</li> <li>Assist in preparing periodic inventory and/or maintain perpetual inventory of tools and equipment (Manually or via computer).</li> <li>Receive materials &amp; supplies from outside vendors (FedEx, UPS).</li> <li>Inspects incoming and outgoing deliveries for accuracy, defects, and reports issues to supervisors.</li> <li>Repairs, services, and lubricates tools and equipment, using hand tools, spray gun or pressurized spray can.</li> <li>Responsible for marking and identifying tools and equipment, using identification tag, stamp, or electric marking tool.</li> <li>May deliver or load out-going tools or equipment, manually or using hand truck/forklift.</li> <li>Assist with transportation and equipment/accessory installation for company fleet vehicles and trailers.</li> <li>Assist with and maintain cleanliness of the facility.</li> <li>Assist with and maintain clear access for exterior walkways and drive lanes.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Education:</strong></p> <ul> <li>High School or equivalent experience in warehouse operations.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Basic computer skills.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Knowledge, skills and abilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Performs work under general supervision.</li> <li>Ability to handle moderately complex issues and problems.</li> <li>Must be self-motivated, and able to execute multi-step instructions.</li> <li>Excellent customer service skills.</li> <li>Ability to use a computer.</li> <li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities and excel in a fast-paced work environment that includes frequent interruptions.</li> <li>Keen attention to detail and good organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to understand and follow directions.</li> <li>Positive team mindset-flexible to help where the team will benefit most and develop effective professional relationships.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Physical and/or travel demands:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Handling of normal stock will include lifting and carrying parts in excess of 50 lbs. Majority of lifting and carrying will involve parts between 5 and 50 lbs.</li> <li>Inside/Outside conditions, varied temperature changes, minimal chemical hazards, vibration, dust, vehicle noise.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Benefits and Compensation:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The range for this position has been established at $18.00 to $25.00 per hour and is US Engineering&rsquo;s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting.
