Join us!<br /><br />** This position does require a government security clearance **<br /><br />Environmental Services Technician – (Day Shift 6:30AM-3:00PM)<br />In any given year, our people have a hand in installing, maintaining, or operating hundreds of large mechanical systems – or supporting those that do. With each of those, there’s a story that is affecting people’s lives. That’s a responsibility we take very seriously, and it’s why we are driving innovation and disrupting the way people think about construction and facility service.<br />Our Environmental Services Technician positions support to the efficiency and function of the facility by performing housekeeping and janitorial duties.<br /><br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Follow established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with&nbsp;Occupational Safety and Health Administration&nbsp;(OSHA), state/local, federal, and U.S. Engineering regulations, policies, and rules.</li> <li>Clean and sanitize restrooms and break-rooms following established protocols.</li> <li>Restock soap and paper dispensers in restrooms and break areas.</li> <li>Care for carpeted floors by vacuuming, spot cleaning, and shampooing.</li> <li>Maintain hard surface floors by sweeping, mopping, striping and waxing.</li> <li>Clean interior and exterior windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.</li> <li>Empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers.</li> <li>Properly clean and maintain housekeeping equipment.</li> <li>Report maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.</li> <li>Record supply inventory as directed and inform management when cleaning supplies are low.</li> <li>Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with those contacted during work.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Capability to pass Q-level-clearance to work in a secure government facility including credit, drug, and legal background checks required.</li> <li>Capacity to perform duties with a sense of urgency.</li> <li>Dexterity to transport all supplies to and from work areas.</li> <li>Ability to wear respirator and other Personal Protective Equipment as required.</li> <li>The know-how to operate equipment including: vacuum cleaners, floor machines, carpet extractors, mop and broom.</li> <li>Capability to work around dust and with cleaning chemicals.</li> <li>Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, and work on hand and knees for long periods of time. <ul> <li>Please note:&nbsp; In this position, there is significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, frequent climbing and balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and significant fine finger dexterity.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <strong>Benefits and Compensation:</strong> <ul> <li>Your total compensation will go beyond the number on your pay/check.
