Join us!<br /><br />CYBERSECURITY ANALYST<br />The Cybersecurity Analyst leverages information security tools and data to monitor and reduce organizational risk and to look for the best possible solutions and most efficient processes to enable the U.S. Engineering team to work smarter and safer.<br /><br /><strong>Benefits and Compensation:</strong> <ul> <li>The range for this position has been established at $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year and is U.S. Engineering&rsquo;s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.</li> <li>Your total compensation will go beyond the number on your paycheck. Team members are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance as well as paid time off. An industry-leading benefits package including health, dental, and vision plans, matching retirement contributions, and matching 529 contributions all add to your bottom line.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Utilizes information security tools to understand and mitigate risk.</li> <li>Collects data and prepares status reports on security matters.</li> <li>Analyzes security measures to identify vulnerabilities.</li> <li>Recommends technical methodologies that support functional security best practices.</li> <li>Assists in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.</li> <li>Helps with preparing and maintains plans on standard operating procedures.</li> <li>Leads the company wide information security training and awareness program.</li> <li>Updates and documents security controls.</li> <li>Assists and maintains security software.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <strong>Education:</strong> <ul> <li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or information security or equivalent work experience.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>2 to 4 years&rsquo; experience in security.</li> <li>Experience administering vulnerability scanning or other security tools is considered a plus.</li> <li>CompTIA A+ and Security + or equivalent required.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Knowledge, skills and abilities:</strong> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of incident response and handling as well as intrusion detection methods and techniques.</li> <li>Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies, and client operating systems.</li> <li>Ability to keep up to date regarding new and emerging IT and cyber security technologies.</li> <li>Demonstrated problem solving, situation analysis, and trouble-shooting skills.</li> <li>Experience with MS Intune.</li> <li>Has working knowledge of Azure.</li> <li>Working knowledge of MS Defender.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Physical and/or Travel demands:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong> <ul> <li>Frequent use of computer, including keyboarding, viewing monitor, etc.</li> <li>Travel as required to conferences and continuing education.</li> <li>Occasional day trips between construction job sites, offices, and manufacturing facilities.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>This position will be posted until <span class="modified">October 4</span>, 2024.
