$23 to $27 per hour

Overview: Tradesman Preventative Maintenance Technician will be responsible for executing the HVAC and Plumbing maintenance at a large facility in South Kansas City. This position will be a direct contributor to maintenance and repair tasks at the facility as well.
Responsibilities: <div> <ul> <li>Rotating Day Shift 6:00 am &ndash; 4:30 pm with every other weekend off.</li> <li>Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks and Work Orders as assigned.</li> <li>Technicians must know the equipment and system designs, sequence of operations, and controls.</li> <li>Provide a detailed Daily Activity Log at the end of the shift.</li> <li>Demonstrate Professional communication with customers, Co-workers, and Management.</li> <li>Must demonstrate willingness to assist others as required.</li> <li>Address all Daily Tasks and Assignments with a sense of urgency.</li> <li>Participate in all housecleaning, material handling/stocking,&nbsp;and organizing tasks.</li> </ul> </div>
Requirements: <strong>Education:</strong> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Experience:</strong> <ul> <li>Previous HVAC, Facility, and/or Mechanical experience desired.</li> </ul> <strong>&nbsp;</strong><br /><strong>Requirements:</strong> <ul> <li>Must be a United States Citizen.</li> <li>Must be able to obtain Security Q-clearance upon hire.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Physical and/or travel demands:</strong> <ul> <li class="xx">The position includes sitting and standing, telephone use, and using the keyboard and computer monitor.</li> <li class="xx">The position requires using hand and power tools frequently.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Benefits and Compensation:</strong> <ul> <li>The range for this position has been established at $23 to $27 per hour and is U.S. Engineering&rsquo;s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.</li> </ul>
