Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Read and interpret drawings, isometrics, and mechanical schematics to guide installation, service, and maintenance work.</li> <li>Select, assemble, install, service, and maintain piping systems and related materials per specifications.</li> <li>Cut and connect pipe using hand tools, power tools, and methods such as welding, soldering, brazing, and threading.</li> <li>Install, troubleshoot, and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including pumps, compressors, valves, controls, and related mechanical systems.</li> <li>Support HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, hydronic, and mechanical system maintenance in operational facilities.</li> <li>Assist with testing, adjusting, and balancing activities, controls coordination, system verification, and functional performance checks as needed.</li> <li>Test piping systems for leaks by pressurizing lines and monitoring gauges.</li> <li>Perform work in sensitive, mission-critical, and high-security environments while following site-specific safety, security, and operational requirements.</li> <li>Support preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to help maintain reliable facility operations.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Experienced pipefitters and journeymen with strong field skills and a solid work history.</li> <li>Experience supporting mechanical service, facilities maintenance, and operations in commercial, industrial, critical infrastructure, or high-security environments.</li> <li>Technical knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, hydronic systems, piping systems, TAB, building controls, pumps, compressors, and related mechanical equipment.</li> <li>Candidates who have never previously been a member of a union.</li> <li>Willing to join our local union as a condition of employment.</li> <li>Willing and able to relocate to the Kansas City, MO area.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><br /><strong>Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis.
