Compile and type reports from employment records. Search employee files and furnish information to authorized persons.</p> </div> </div> </div>
Responsibilities: <h3 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job"><strong>Tasks</strong></h3> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.</li> <li>Examine employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions.</li> <li>Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other pertinent information.</li> <li>Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, supervisory reports on performance, benefits enrollment and dates of and reasons for terminations.</li> <li>Make recommendations to management to improve HR processes.</li> <li>Process, verify, and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, and classifications.</li> <li>Hold exit interviews</li> <li>Help when needed for overflow of recruiting</li> <li>Handle employee metrics for Management.</li> </ul> <br /> <h3 class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoField_Job"><strong>Skills</strong></h3> <div class="iCIMS_InfoMsg iCIMS_InfoMsg_Job"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Container"> <div class="iCIMS_Expandable_Text"> <ul> <li>Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking the time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.</li> <li>Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.</li> <li>Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively.</li> <li>Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.</li> <li>Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.</li> <li>Writing - Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.</li> <li>Computer Skills &ndash; Ability to operate spreadsheet, word processing, and email programs.
