Overview: <p class="p1"><span class="s1"><strong>Working under the direction of the&nbsp;Director of Public Services and/or their designee, employee will perform a variety of janitorial duties typically associated with the cleaning of offices, conference and multi-purpose rooms, dining rooms, rest rooms, gymnasiums and other facilities as necessary. Responsibilities: <p class="p1">An Employee in this position may be called upon to perform any of all of the following essential job functions, duties, and responsibilities. The following describes the general nature and level of work to be performed is not construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed in this position:</p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li1">Maintain a neat and clean appearance on the job at all times</li> <li class="li1">Perform all assigned tasks in a timely and complete manner</li> <li class="li1">Maintain adequate supplies to perform the responsibilities of the position at all times</li> <li class="li1">Contact the Clerk&rsquo;s office and the Recreation Department on each Monday to get a list of meeting times scheduled for the week and be sure the appropriate rooms are prepped or set up per the requirements of the meeting</li> <li class="li1">Have an understanding of general cleanliness and housekeeping tasks, as well as experience with necessary tools and equipment</li> <li class="li1">Can work independently or in small groups performing various tasks</li> <li class="li1">Load and unload stock and equipment as needed</li> <li class="li1">Assist as required with building and grounds work</li> <li class="li1">Ability to use common logic and reasoning on job-related matters</li> <li class="li1">Ability to speak, read, and write the English language</li> <li class="li1">Maintain a log of various tasks as directed</li> <li class="li1">Be able to perform simple mathematical computations as needed for the performance of the position</li> </ul>
