Overview: <p class="p1">Under the direction and supervision of Public Services management, performs custodial, maintenance and improvement activities for overall township facility and grounds maintenance. Performs a variety of routine and semi-skilled maintenance, construction, custodial and repair activities involving township buildings, facilities, parking lots, grounds and equipment. Responsibilities: <p class="p1">An employee in this position may be called upon to perform any or all of the following essential job functions, duties and responsibilities. These examples are intended to describe the general nature and level of work to be performed by an employee assigned this classification and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed in this position.</p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li3">Works with maintenance staff, custodians and contractors responsible for building and grounds maintenance operations, including but not limited to mowing all township owned facilities and parks properties.</li> <li class="li3">Maintains Township greenways, including snow plowing, tree and bed maintenance and grass cutting.</li> <li class="li3">Assists in burial site preparation.</li> <li class="li3">Performs cemetery grounds maintenance, including road accessibility and plot maintenance.</li> <li class="li3">Performs tree trimming, removal and replacement on township properties and replanting.</li> <li class="li3">Operates plow equipment, tractors, hi-lo and dump truck as needed to perform duties.</li> <li class="li3">Maintains parking lots including striping and pot hole repair.</li> <li class="li3">Performs facilities and grounds maintenance, repair and improvement projects as directed.</li> <li class="li3">Performs removal of trash or debris from roadways within the Township as directed.</li> <li class="li3">Performs custodial maintenance as directed.</li> <li class="li3">Maintains related records and data information.</li> <li class="li3">Investigates customer complaints regarding maintenance of facilities and grounds.</li> <li class="li3">Performs related and incidental work as assigned.</li> <li class="li3">Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p class="p1">The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, abilities and minimum qualifications necessary to perform the essential functions, duties and responsibilities of the position.</p> <p class="p2"><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul class="ul1"> <li class="li1">Must possess high school diploma or equivalent.
