Someone who can define their own parameters and directly contribute to moving the company forward through brand recognition, social media and digital marketing.</p> <p><strong>Who you are</strong></p> <p>You are a Marketing Manager with experience beyond your years - you&rsquo;ve done a lot in a short time and thrive in unstructured and fast paced environments. You have had a range of roles within marketing, at tech startups or as part of a small-to-mid-sized company. You want to write and implement the strategy, the guidebook, the campaigns and the framework. You want a seat at the table where you can see the contribution you make to the company&rsquo;s growth and success.</p>
Responsibilities: <p><strong>What our Marketing Manager will focus on:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Take ownership. You will work side-by-side with the VP Marketing &amp; Customer Success to position yourself as the go-to marketing and brand expert. You will develop, document and communicate our value proposition, our market position and our core messaging.</li> <li>Design a marketing framework. You will plan and execute a company-wide marketing plan that will directly contribute to the achievement of our growth goals. &nbsp;</li> <li>Build the brand guidelines. You will create a brand book, articulate our brand promise and outline the brand guidelines. You will work across the organization to increase our brand awareness internally and ensure alignment of branding and the corporate promise on all messaging and overall business goals.</li> <li>Sales and customer success. In collaboration with the teams, you will use relationship insights, data analytics, expertise and creativity to design, develop and roll out sales tools.</li> <li>Digital marketing. You will own and drive the development of our digital marketing strategy, with an initial focus on a full corporate website update, SEO and SEM. You will implement effective email campaigns, outreach strategies and social media content to accelerate engagement of our current and potential customers and vendor partners.</li> <li>Thought leadership. You will actively seek out opportunities for Venngo to establish themselves as a thought leader in the industry.</li> <li>Influence. You will work your magic carving out a credible reputation for us, in the same way you have done for other companies previously. You will work side-by-side with our leadership to establish yourself as the go-to person for company messaging. You will craft positive messaging for all media and PR releases.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>So, how do we know that&rsquo;s you? You have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The education. A Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.</li> <li>The experience. You have 3-5 years in marketing and communications. You have experience: <ul> <li>Building a successful brand. You know how to position the company and our brand promise in everything we generate and touch.</li> <li>Designing and rolling out successful marketing and sales campaigns for promotion and lead generation.</li> <li>Developing and delivering content for a targeted audience, sales support and beyond.</li> <li>Managing successful social media and email campaigns. You have a solid understanding of social marketing and social media scheduling and management tools.</li> </ul> </li> <li>The communication skills. You have outstanding verbal, presentation and relationship building skills. You know how to work with any level of internal and external client. You love to write and you enjoy finding the perfect image or graphic to portray or enforce messaging.</li> <li>The passion. You are passionate about building and nurturing a trusted brand and customer loyalty.</li> <li>The technical skills. You have experience with the Adobe Suite, MS Office and ideally Salesforce. You have expertise with SEO/SEM and using Google Analytics to generate web metrics and digital analytics, with the ability to analyze and interpret data. Familiarity with marketing automation software is an asset.</li> <li>The personality. You are incredibly organized, approachable, energetic, enthusiastic, curious and fun.
