Benefit Advisor


Overview: You will be responsible for selling Medicare Advantage products to the Medicare dual population.&nbsp; The Medicare Benefit Advisor is part of the VCMAX Business Development Team, and will be responsible for keeping the organization visible through new community and provider based referral sources.
Responsibilities: <p>As the Medicare Benefit Advisor, you will identify new business opportunities for the Medicare product lines to create referral pipelines and organization collaboration. You will maintain referral source accounts through profiling and strategic account reviews, understanding key needs of the account, and developing a written plan for the organization to meet the needs of the new potential referral source.&nbsp; You will serve as a liaison between all referral sources under the Benefit Advisors management, and VCMAX intake and operations department to ensure highest quality of service. You will participate in community relations events such as health fairs, professional conferences, expo's, and community benefit events.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
Requirements: <p>We would like to speak to those who bring an Associate's Degree along with an Active Department of Insurance Accident &amp; Health NY License.&nbsp; 2+ years' experience in a health related-field or equivalent experience marketing and selling managed Medicare, and/or Managed Medicaid. Working knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare, D-SNP, MAP, and Managed Long Term Care (MLTC) product lines will be vital to this role. <strong>Bilingual in Cantonese or Mandarin required. </strong>Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to travel throughout the tri-state area to a variety of community and clinical settings. <strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
