Overview: This position will support the CFO and the Accounting team during the monthly financial close process, review the general ledger allocation rules, and create custom reports using Smartview. Manage the overall financial reporting for the monthly financial close to leadership and the board
Responsibilities: Prepare monthly actual vs. plan and actual vs. forecast variance reports and analysis. Review the expense allocations and recommend ways to improve.&nbsp;Develop and maintain customized reports for the Finance team to help streamline monthly close review process (revenue, medical, admin, key indicators, etc.). Support regulatory reporting submissions including MMCOR. Identify and quantify financial impact of various initiatives. Review current business processes and recommend modifications to streamline the reporting of new initiatives.Support the Finance team with all Finance related system implementation or improvement projects Collaborate with business users to clearly define reporting requirements in support of strategic decision making.
Requirements: <p>We would like to speak to those who have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred&nbsp; along with 10 - 15 years of experience in financial reporting, planning and analysis in a health care setting. Strong financial reporting and analytical skills and experience building product allocations.Excellent communication skills to facilitate working with teammates within the department and cross-functional teams. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint.Experience with general ledger software, preferably with Oracle</p>
