Full-Time

Overview: <ul> <li>Builds and maintains rapport with residents.</li> <li>Medication administration and audits.</li> <li>Perform Urinalysis test and breathalyzer.</li> <li>Defuses disruptive behavior by verbal interventions.</li> <li>Informs and explains RRC rules to residents.</li> <li>Monitors residents, watching closely for unusual behavior, improper conduct, or signs of conflict.</li> </ul>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Monitors visits between residents and personal visitors.</li> <li>Residents are subject to the pat method, to detect and confiscate contraband or unapproved items.</li> <li>Resident living quarters, recreational areas, visiting areas; and other areas in the building, or public/common grounds, are searched for contraband and unapproved items.</li> <li>Conducts security checks of the facility.</li> <li>Communicates with other staff and Case Managers to inform about resident behaviors, incidents, and/or to request assistance.</li> <li>Performs headcounts to visually ensure the presence of all residents.</li> <li>Checks IDs to ensure only authorized persons enter or leave the facility.</li> <li>Processes new admissions and discharges.</li> <li>Reads and writes narrative reports describing events that have happened, such as confidential reports, incident reports, disciplinary reports, special observation reports, etc.</li> </ul>
