Responsibilities: <p><strong>Building Operations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage existing building contracts for repeating services by scheduling work, reviewing work and maintaining ongoing communication with vendors.</li> <li>Engage new vendors when required and secure and schedule additional services as needed. Maintain current building licenses and training compliance for all aspects of school operations.</li> <li>Coordinate regular maintenance and manage time and budget of maintenance contractor.</li> <li>Oversee the maintenance of school vehicles by scheduling regular and as-needed maintenance and keeping licenses current.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Food and Nutrition Services</strong></p> <ul> <li>Oversee the food and nutrition program at VOA High School which includes:</li> <li>Maintaining state and federal training requirements</li> <li>Accessing and managing confidential student/family income information</li> <li>Actively partnering with Minneapolis Public Schools to make sure all students have access to educational benefits</li> <li>Utilizing MN State accounting interface to ensure maximum federal reimbursement</li> <li>Overseeing 100% lunch form completion by required deadlines</li> <li>Ordering and adjusting meal counts</li> <li>Organizing and maintaining point of sale compliance, staffing and meal safe storage</li> <li>Maintaining city health department standards and certificate requirements.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li> <li>Preferred experience in fiscal services, administration, and human resources</li> <li>1 year of similar work experience</li> <li>Bilingual: Spanish or Somali preferred</li> <li>Ability to work with a diverse population of individuals by using tact diplomacy and flexibility</li> </ul>
