Responsibilities: <p><strong>How You Will Spend Your Time:</strong></p> <p>You will be empowered to supervise Direct Support Professionals while personally ensuring the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities of the role. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>This includes maintaining appropriate documentation, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts, monitoring staff documentation, ensuring healthy meals and snacks are purchased and on hand, and guiding the staff in ensuring daily needs are met.</p> <p>By creating fun activities in the program for the residents to recognize and rewarding above and beyond the performance of the staff, you will be the central point of contact and the nucleus of the unique culture at Volunteers of America.</p> <p>You will also serve as a change agent and lead your teams through the people side of change, as it relates to changes in regulations, policy, process, and technology.</p> <p>Confidence and competence in meeting with family members is an additional way that you will use your diverse and varied superpowers to provide complete oversight and hands-on tactical execution of the Program Manager role.</p>
Requirements: <p><strong>What We Need from You:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Consistently high standard of personal hygiene and professional appearance, as all team members are a visual representation of Volunteers of America</li> <li>Basic bookkeeping system experience and math skills&nbsp;<strong>required</strong></li> <li>Valid Driver License</li> <li>Ability to be First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration certified</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Required Education and Experience:</strong></p> <p>Must possess an Associate or higher degree in healthcare field (or) Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in field other than health care from an accredited college plus two years directly related experience with people with disabilities (or) Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in field other than health care from an accredited college and successful completion of a department approved assisted living administrators training course (or) At least two years&rsquo; experience working in a health care related field having direct contact with people with disabilities and successful completion of a department approved assisted living administrators course (or) A valid nursing home administrators license.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Starting Salary:</strong>&nbsp;$36,000 per year.&nbsp;</p>
