Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Clean and sanitize walls, floors, doors, equipment, tools, and work areas to maintain hygiene and meet housekeeping standards.</li> <li>Inspect facilities, report cleanliness issues, and maintain accurate cleaning records.</li> <li>Safely handle cleaning chemicals, operate cleaning equipment, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).</li> <li>Follow all food safety and workplace protocols, including GMPs, HACCP, LOTO, Safety, and SSOP procedures, to ensure compliance.</li> <li>Collaborate with quality teams to address sanitation-related concerns and participate in training to improve processes and skills.</li> <li>Perform general production tasks such as packing bread and rolls and other assigned duties.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Previous experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, industrial setting or a similar environment is preferred.</li> <li>Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in cold or wet environments.</li> <li>Ability to identify cleanliness issues and maintain high sanitation standards.</li> <li>Experience using cleaning equipment like pressure washers, vacuums, or foaming machines.</li> <li>Knowledge of handling and using cleaning chemicals safely, including understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS).</li> <li>Ability to follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently.</li> <li>Commitment to adhering to workplace safety rules and food safety regulations.</li> <li>Familiarity with food safety standards such as GMPs, HACCP, and SSOPs.</li> <li>Flexibility with time shifts, work on weekends, or overtime as required.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><u>What is the recipe for a great career at Wonderbrands?<br /><br /></u></strong><u><br /></u>Wonderbrands is a leading Canadian bakery with 140 years of experience in baking packaged breads.
