Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Safely offload and transport stale bread to the disposal area.</li> <li>Operate and monitor the compactor for proper waste management.</li> <li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace.</li> <li>Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.</li> <li>Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Previous working in a warehouse receiving department is an asset experience.</li> <li>You have strong people skills&mdash;you&rsquo;re approachable, a good listener, and empathetic.</li> <li>Work in a safe and conscientious manner.</li> <li>You&rsquo;re dedicated to the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.</li> <li>Ability to effectively communicate in English (written and verbal).</li> <li>Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.</li> <li>Possess some degree of mechanical aptitude.</li> <li>Ability to work in an efficient but safe manner.</li> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.</li> <li>Strong numeracy skills.</li> <li>Ability to think, troubleshoot and react to situations.</li> <li>Strong multi-tasking skills.</li> <li>Excellent attendance record.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>What is the recipe for a great career at Wonderbrands?</strong><br /><br />Wonderbrands is a leading Canadian bakery with 140 years of experience in baking packaged breads.
