Supply planners are responsible for (not in order):</p> <ul> <li>The detailed master planning of primarily fresh baked goods (breads, rolls, bagels) with some inventoried frozen SKUs, short and long term.</li> <li>Achieving and maintaining set KPI levels for fill rate, inventory targets and other established metrics.</li> <li>Open communication, collaboration and engagement with WB key team members including Logistics, Finance, Manufacturing, Customer Center of Excellence, Procurement and Product Life Management.</li> <li>Participating in continuous improvement goals. This role is in a FAST-paced environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> Coverage over long weekends as required, including statutory holiday periods.<br /><br />On-call availability after regular working hours to respond to urgent supply, inventory, or delivery escalations.<br /> <p>Location: 1425 The Queensway, Etobicoke, Ontario&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> The regular work schedule is Sunday&ndash;Thursday. The successful candidate must be flexible to provide coverage over long weekends and statutory holiday periods, as required by business needs. On-call availability outside of regular working hours is also required to respond to urgent supply, inventory, or delivery escalations.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Short-term daily and long-term weekly master planning and all related activities for a specified product category (bread, rolls, alternatives, frozen) including timely distribution of information.</li> <li>Short and long term analysis for capacity and inventory requirements.&nbsp; &nbsp;</li> <li>Maintain and improve fill rate and financial obligations (including post-production waste) as set by WB leadership.</li> <li>Understand, identify and root cause KPI misses for opportunities to improve trends.</li> <li>Participation and/or leadership in key meetings as required.</li> <li>Develop key relationships with other WB team members including Manufacturing sites, Logistics and Demand Planning.</li> <li>Planning and replenishing central ingredients and packaging items on a weekly basis using planning tool/SAP MRP.</li> <li>Create Purchase orders with the suppliers and monitor weekly Purchase orders which are due for delivery.</li> <li>Work with PLM and bakeries for the new project launches and ensure timely placement of Pos to the suppliers, ensuring inventory availability throughout the network.</li> <li>Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential buyers and suppliers to the organization along with maintaining supplier score cards and having discussions with suppliers on service levels periodically.</li> <li>Develop processes to improve inventory accuracy for all centrally stored raw materials.</li> <li>Report and update department KPIs.</li> <li>End to end tracking of deployment transactions.</li> <li>Clear and open communication with internal and external partners (verbal and written).</li> <li>Learn and champion software tools (current and as introduced).</li> <li>Drive to improve and develop processes/tools that contribute and/or act as multipliers to overall WB business health.</li> <li>Participating&nbsp;in the S&amp;OP process and maintaining related presentation tools according to product category.</li> <li>Vacation coverage activities, including responsibilities from other team members.</li> <li>All other duties as required.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Completed post-secondary degree from a recognized University or College with a focus on engineering, supply chain, statistics or mathematics.</li> <li>1-2 years of relevant work experience (or equivalent co-op or internship placements).</li> <li>Understanding of supply chain principles including forecasting, inventory control and logistics.</li> <li>Successful candidate will be results driven, find innovative solutions to problems, be proactive in identifying issues and opportunities, strike a balance between fair and progressive, be detail orientated, be multitasking and be inquisitive and analytical.</li> <li>SAP experience preferred.</li> <li>Moderate to advanced Excel skills required.</li> <li>Demonstrated knowledge and execution of Power BI and MS Access preferred.</li> <li>Written and spoken French an asset but not required.</li> <li>Flexible work schedule including holidays and weekends.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u><br /><br />FGF Group Competencies:</u></strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Adaptive Intelligence -&nbsp;</strong>Team Members respond effectively to challenges by evolving their skills, mindset, and approach.</p> <ul> <li><strong>Flexibility, Agility, Adaptability</strong>: Thrives in dynamic environments by embracing continuous change.
