Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Work in the warehouse directly in relation to the production department, using a stand-up and/or counterbalanced forklift and a walk-behind pallet truck.</li> <li>Move stacks of bread from the shipping area to trailers using a handcart/trolley and forklift.</li> <li>Move empty stacks of bread trays from trailer to factory using hand truck/cart and forklift.</li> <li>Organize the shipping floor and aisles, sort orders and fill the trailer in the correct order.</li> <li>Complete all paperwork, including daily forklift inspection and performing food safety checks on the trailer.</li> <li>Available for various shifts throughout the week, including flexibility to work weekends (Saturday AND Sunday) and holidays as needed.</li> <li>Additional responsibilities may be added to better meet business needs.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Have previous experience in a shipping/distribution environment (Preferably in the food industry!).</li> <li>Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Be autonomous and dynamic through opportunities to learn and grow, and be the master of your own career.</li> <li>Forklift license/certification required.</li> <li>Knowledge of OUTLOOK systems is an asset.</li> <li>Knowledge of SAP or any other WMS an asset.</li> <li>Have a very good understanding of warehouse shipping/receiving procedures and equipment.</li> <li>Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
