Overview: <p>As a Talent and Development Business Partner, your primary responsibility is to support our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You provide support and coordination in the uniform and effective application of Human Resources policies, procedures and practices for all team members. Responsibilities include employee relations, health and safety, recruiting, training, time and attendance management and other tasks as required. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Actively work as a liaison between the operations, talent and development teams and team members (full-time and from staffing agencies)</li> <li>Oversee all communications with staffing agencies and assist Operations, Shift, Group and Team Leaders in building relationships with all team members.</li> <li>Oversee the implementation of Wonderbrand policies, protocols and new initiatives, and communicate details</li> <li>Work with the Health and Safety team and promote a Health and Safety culture by participating in training and committee meetings</li> <li>Work closely with each plant's operations managers to determine their current and future staffing needs.</li> <li>Manage all training documents for key roles</li> <li>In collaboration with all key stakeholders, investigate and resolve all issues</li> <li>In collaboration with Operations Managers, assist and participate in the process of progressive disciplinary measures related to team members.</li> <li>Work with management to assist and participate in performance reviews related to team members</li> <li>Participate in projects of the Talent and Development and Operations teams, as needed Manage and participate in internal job creation postings</li> <li>Coaching and support for operations managers on practices and management of the collective agreement</li> <li>Drive team member engagement and implement initiatives to make improvements</li> <li>In collaboration with all key stakeholders, resolve problems and meet challenges related to daily operations</li> <li>Organization and management of labor relations committees</li> <li>Grievance management in collaboration with the labor relations team</li> </ul> <br />
Requirements: <ul> <li>At least 3 years of experience in a similar position.</li> <li>Post-secondary studies in human resources or a related field.</li> <li>Good understanding and working knowledge of HR policies and procedures, benefits and labor relations.</li> <li>Proven skills in the use of major office software and productivity tools, such as the Microsoft Office suite, and working knowledge of an HR information system.</li> <li>Experience with health and safety initiatives (previous experience as a member of a health and safety committee required).</li> <li>Manufacturing experience required. (an asset)</li> <li>Health and safety certification or similar experience strongly desired.</li> </ul> <br />
