<strong>Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, a nonprofit organization, is trusted locally and nationally as a leader in the field of mental health care for children and their families.</strong> <br /><br />Each day, YBGR&rsquo;s employees work with close to 1200 youth throughout Montana who struggle with controlling emotions and behaviors. Overview: The Director of Information Technology (IT) is responsible for developing and executing the organization's technology strategy to support business objectives. This role oversees IT operations, infrastructure, security, and digital transformation initiatives while ensuring system reliability and compliance with industry standards. The Director of IT leads a team of technology professionals, manages vendor relationships, and implements innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and cybersecurity. <br /> <br />
Responsibilities: <p class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Supervisory Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>Provides leadership and supervision to Information Systems department as outlined in the supervisor duties below.</span></p> <ul class="ignore-global-css"> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Plans and directs work, ensuring that work schedules are adhered to and assigning specific duties to subordinate staff.</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Responsible for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training employees. Conducts staff evaluations, job performance management (including coaching/counseling), and corrective action.</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Responsible for ensuring appropriate staff training and education programs are provided. Requirements: <ul class="ignore-global-css"> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">21 years old or older</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Criminal / Child Abuse Clearance:<em class="ignore-global-css">&nbsp;</em>Must pass criminal record and child abuse registry background check as required by the State of Montana.</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.</span></li> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">10 years professional experience in Information Technology Role with 3 years in leadership role in Information Technology</span></li> </ul> <p class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">Required Abilities/Skills</strong></span></p> <ul class="ignore-global-css"> <li class="ignore-global-css"><span class="ignore-global-css">Strategic Vision: Must possess a strategic vision for technology and its role in achieving business objectives.
