<strong>Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, a nonprofit organization, is trusted locally and nationally as a leader in the field of mental health care for children and their families.</strong> <br /><br />Each day, YBGR&rsquo;s employees work with close to 1200 youth throughout Montana who struggle with controlling emotions and behaviors. Internship

Overview: <p class="ignore-global-css"><strong class="ignore-global-css">About the Internship&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> <p class="ignore-global-css">We are currently accepting applications for a Graduate-Level Mental Health Intern to support our children&rsquo;s mental health initiatives within a mission-driven non-profit organization. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Clinical Support: Assist with the planning, delivery, and evaluation of therapeutic services for children and families under the supervision of a licensed clinician. &nbsp;</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Client Engagement: Participate in supervised client sessions, including intakes, psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and case documentation.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Program Development: Contribute to the design and refinement of mental health programs and psychoeducational workshops tailored to children and caregivers.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Community Outreach: Support public education efforts and connect families to available mental health resources.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Administrative Functions: Aid in clinical record-keeping, data entry, and scheduling as related to service delivery and program tracking.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Education: Currently enrolled in a Master&rsquo;s program (e.g., MSW, MFT, MA/MS in Counseling or Psychology, or related field). &nbsp;</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Interest: Demonstrated passion for working with children, families, and underserved communities.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li> <li class="ignore-global-css">Commitment: Willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative, community-focused setting.</li> </ul>
