Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Replenish paper goods (i.e., cups, napkins, etc.) at bars.</li> <li>Assist bartenders in cleaning and maintaining bars: filling ice bins, etc.</li> <li>Stock bars with alcoholic beverages: liquor, wine, beer, drink mixes.</li> <li>Stock non-alcoholic beverages: soda, juices, and carbon dioxide at bars.</li> <li>Stock liquor room with all supplies: liquor, beer, wine, dry goods, soda, etc.</li> <li>Maintain cleanliness of liquor rooms, beer coolers, and bars: sweep, mop, take out the trash.</li> <li>Assist with setting up for banquets and private functions: stock alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and paper products.</li> <li>Break bartenders, make change, run cashier register.</li> <li>Help with inventories.</li> <li>Claim tips received according to laws governing wage reporting.</li> <li>Perform duties in a safe manner; report any potential safety hazards to management staff.</li> <li>May be required to answer questions when a manager is not available.</li> <li>Must work well under pressure, and meet multiple and sometimes competing deadlines.</li> <li>Adhere to all corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.</li> <li>Must at all times demonstrate ethical and cooperative behavior with guests, co-workers and leadership.</li> </ul>
Requirements: Must be a minimum of 21 years of age. <br /> <ul> <li>High school diploma or G.E.D preferred.</li> <li>1 to 3 months relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.</li> <li>Must qualify for certification through NMAST.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, mixed cocktails.</li> <li>Basic math skill is required, ability to handle cash and accurately make change.</li> <li>Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards and work varied shifts, which will include weekends and holidays.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to read, write and speak English required.</li> <li>Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are required.</li> <li>Ability to work as part of a team and to promote cooperative approach between departments.</li> <li>Ability to work unsupervised.PHYSiCAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</li> <li>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</li> <li>Frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and standing for long periods of time.</li> <li>Walking and/or standing 90% of the time.</li> <li>Lifting up to 50 pounds to stack, store or move materials, supplies and equipment.&nbsp;</li> <li>Exposure to unrestricted second-hand smoke.</li> </ul>
