Overview: Responsible for accurate data entry, file maintenance, and recordkeeping to ensure the timely receipt and processing of legal documents in a team production environment.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Maintain high level of professionalism with clients and establish a positive rapport with every caller.</li> <li>Input &amp; update case statuses in proprietary system and establish work priorities by pulling electronic reports for clients.</li> <li>Follow up with process servers for status via phone and email to push for quick resolution.</li> <li>Apply client and county-specific requirements to daily work production and become familiar with rules of Civil Procedure.</li> <li>Provide daily communication with clients, vendors, and co-workers.</li> <li>Prepare and sort documents for data entry.</li> <li>Reroute &amp; track documents, open mail, and review new case data.</li> <li>Meet or exceed key performance indicators regarding timeliness of case status, case notes, and obtaining status to move cases to next phase of service.</li> <li>Expedite resolution of errors made by Process Servers on submitted affidavits.</li> <li>Create and maintain logs for tracking purposes.</li> <li>Punctual and regular attendance.</li> <li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <div> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li> <li>Minimum 2 years of office and/or customer service experience.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain strong organizational skills.</li> <li>Knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure for supported states.</li> <li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications preferred.</li> <li>Proficient typing skills (30 wpm).</li> <li>Experience with office machine operations.</li> <li>Familiarity with legal documents preferred.</li> <li>Ability to multi-task and maintain organization.</li> </ul> </div> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p> <p>Professional office work environment.
