Overview: <p>We are looking for a Data Enablement and Adoption Manager to design, lead, deploy and maintain strategic data literacy and digital upskilling initiatives related to managing and governing data products.&nbsp; They will act as a translator, champion and ambassador of our data platforms, connected data products, analytics, tooling and capabilities across IT. &nbsp;&nbsp;They will possess data and technical skills, strong pragmatic leadership abilities and a deep understanding of data management and governance principles and technologies.&nbsp; The ideal candidate is a polished communicator with expertise in a variety of continuous improvement methods, agile delivery and experience working cross-functionally to solve problems with product and process changes.&nbsp; They will be partnering with other leaders to drive a culture of operational excellence and be driving the technical aspect of our data management initiatives while ensuring optimal data architecture is consistent throughout ongoing projects.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.</p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>With deep expertise and experience - plan, implement and maintain tooling across of data governance and data management initiatives</li> <li>Oversee the technology, infrastructure and systems that support data governance initiatives</li> <li>Implementation of the Enterprise Data Strategy aligned with data governance goals</li> <li>Drive evaluation and assist with selection and implementation of technologies for data management, data quality, data security and compliance</li> <li>Working with digital leads to understand the needs for data literacy and upskilling in the IT functions</li> <li>Defining, measuring and monitoring KPIs for adoption and success of data management, data governance, data literacy and upskilling programs</li> <li>Forging networks of digital leads, data champions and experts in the IT functions to drive engagement and adoption</li> <li>Capturing and translating requirements for innovative, cross-functional, cross-domain data management use cases and work with data and digital leads to explore, design, and deliver capabilities in an Agile fashion</li> <li>Championing the use of our data platform, data domains and data products. Working with data experts and digital leads to share best practices, drive utilization and exploitation of data domains</li> <li>Lead a team of IT professionals who support data governance initiatives.&nbsp;</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data stewards, compliance officers and analysts to achieve data governance tooling objectives</li> <li>Coordinating comms and change management initiatives around data management, data governance, data literacy and digital upskilling to ensure uptake and adoption</li> <li>Monitor industry trends and best practices in IT management and data Governance.&nbsp; Continuously evaluate and enhance processes and technologies to meet evolving business needs</li> <li>Promote a data driven culture within the organization thereby supporting informed decision making and business operations</li> </ul>
Requirements: <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Masters Degree in Computer Science or Technical field and Masters Degree in Technology and/or Business related field; equivalent trainings/certifications/experience equivalency will be considered</li> <li>8 or more years of equivalent experience in relevant job or field of technology.</li> <li>5 or more years of equivalent experience in an advanced role or technical capacity,&nbsp; leading teams directly or indirectly</li> <li>5 or more years experience directly responsible for guiding, training or onboarding team members in relevant technologies, capabilities or skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Post graduate degree advanced training and or certifications in relevant field/s of study preferred</li> <li>5 or more years experience in Agile teams and Product/Platform based operating model.</li> <li>5 or more years experience in leading teams or advancing technical capability in teams</li> <li>Experience in retail or grocery preferred.</li> </ul>
