Overview: <p>The Workforce Analytics, Insights &amp; Planning Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and general HR KPIs. This position plays a vital role in collecting, structuring, analyzing, and reporting HR processes and data for the Ahold Delhaize USA support organization.</p> <p><strong><em>Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.&nbsp;</em></strong></p>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.</li> <li>Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to HR leadership in ways that clearly tell the story.</li> <li>Acquires and compiles structured and unstructured data and verifies its quality, accuracy, and feasibility.</li> <li>Defines and develops tracked KPIs to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.</li> <li>Performs analyses of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.</li> <li>Creates and manages predictive models (e.g. job movement, retirements, talent pools, policy decisions) and integrates workforce model output into production reporting and developing metrics to assess their effectiveness.</li> <li>Prepares and delivers visualizations and internal presentations that translate analytic insights into tangible, actionable solutions for business partners to implement.</li> <li>Compiles complex data reports and summaries for HR leadership team.</li> <li>Develops, owns, and manages recurring analytic or reporting processes.</li> <li>Proactively expands knowledge of business and analytics and shares with team members.</li> <li>Shares and documents best practices.</li> <li>Utilizes Excel and Power BI tools to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports for HR metrics and KPIs.</li> <li>Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.</li> <li>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our values.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.</li> <li>Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics, preferably working with confidential HR data.</li> <li>Strong analytic aptitude, ability to analyze data and formulate effective strategies and tactics.</li> <li>Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, modelling).</li> <li>Project management and process improvement experience.</li> <li>Ability to leverage various tools to tell a compelling story at all organizational levels.</li> <li>Data-driven decision making on how skills can support specific business strategies.</li> <li>Proactively anticipating talent investments with strategies to drive enterprise and functional capabilities.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Proficiency in requirements gathering, documentation, and system design.</li> <li>Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably working with HR data.</li> <li>Experience working with HR systems - SuccessFactors, Kronos, etc.</li> <li>Experience utilizing SQL and Tableau.</li> </ul>
