Overview: <p>This position is focused on reducing net landed cost and improving supply chain cost to serve. Channel management analysts mine needed data, develop tooling, generate insights, perform costing analysis, and provide vendor/item level recommendations that optimize the Supply Chain and Retail Operations. They collaborate with internal and external partners to guide, provide expertise, and recommend solutions that highlight cost and other holistic impacts and trade-offs to the ADUSA Supply Chain. Provides analytical expertise and guidance for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals. This individual serves as the face of Supply Chain inside the Category Review Process, and in developing partnerships with Category, Item Life Cycle, and Shelf Management Teams. They participate in the Category Review Cycles of our Great Local Brands of ADUSA. As well as serve as a supply chain subject matter expert for vendor and item level flow path decision making.</p> <br /><br /><em><strong>Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC. &nbsp;<br /><br />Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.</strong></em>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Vendor Flowpath Optimization: Analyze vendor supply chain health, review progress, work directly with stakeholders to ensure progress is made in a tangible measurable format.</li> <li>Perform flowpath analysis, vendor health &amp; scorecarding, and net landed cost performance.</li> <li>Monitor adopted results of the category review cycle.</li> <li>Perform AdHoc supply chain vendor/item level analysis for key stakeholders.</li> <li>New Business Flowpath Governance: Increase cost savings to company in a sustainable manner.</li> <li>Generate cost savings and optimal supply chain efficiency by ensuring most optimal flowpath on new business.</li> <li>Increase cost savings to company in a sustainable manner.</li> <li>Relationship Management: Develop strategic partnerships with internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Develop partnerships with Category, In-Stock, &amp; Supply Chain POD teams to ensure the best outcome for Supply Chain service and cost.</li> <li>Meet with impacted departments concerning goals, priorities and technical concerns.</li> <li>Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert: Evaluate, analyze, and recommend cross-functional supply chain solutions that align ADUSA Supply Chain strategy with individual business objectives.</li> <li>Participates in the development of alternate product channels utilizing sound research and design methodology, as well as the development and implementation of programs to improve operating processes.</li> <li>Is a company expert on industry supply chain activities, changes, and trends.</li> <li>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.</li> <li>3 to 5 years of combined experience in category, shelf management, supply chain, operations, inventory management, sourcing, and/or logistics.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to transform data from multiple sources into actionable business intelligence.</li> <li>Collaboration experience with vendors, transportation providers, and third-party vendors.</li> <li>Six Sigma, APICS, CPM, or other analytical or supply chain-oriented certification/training.</li> <li>Organizational change management experience and understanding of the value of business process change relating to people, process, and policies.</li> <li>Experience with the following computer programs/systems: SEGA, DSS, Relex, Biceps, WMS, Alteryx, Tableau.</li> <li>Cross functional project experience.</li> <li>Experience in areas of supply chain, operations, business analytics, and category.</li> <li>Strength in Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, &amp; Power BI.</li> </ul> <br /> <p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Ability to manage day to day activity for identified responsibilities.</li> <li>Ability to influence without authority.</li> <li>Ability to work as part of a team.</li> <li>Ability to think innovatively.</li> <li>Ability to work with all levels of management.</li> <li>Ability to be persuasive in presenting ideas and able to influence without authority.</li> <li>Must have a high level of credibility and be able to interact effectively with cross-functional teams of associates at all levels.</li> <li>Proven ability to innovate utilizing industry standard research and design methodology.</li> <li>Ability to work well under pressure and balance short-term vs. long-term demands.</li> <li>Ability to understand, translate and implement the overall company strategy into the daily business within Supply Chain.</li> <li>Ability to travel up to 10% domestic.</li> </ul>
