Full Time - Hybrid

Overview: The Enterprise Architect's role is embedded in supply chain's IT and business teams to design strategic and practical solutions. This role translates supply chain business requirements at the business/technology domain level into technology and solution architecture deliverables. This role works closely in close cooperation with enterprise architects, business analysts and program/ project managers. This role also establishes strategic IT Reference Architectures and Roadmaps, develop enterprise-level strategies, and continue to commit to adopting and implementing the most effective industry standards.<br /><br />Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead and inspire IT teams in the areas of Architecture, Solution Delivery and IT Service Delivery to develop and establish a high performing and service driven culture that will deliver high productivity.</li> <li>Challenge status quo and drive changes to improve business performance and productivity.</li> <li>Drive development of next generation IT talent by implementing career paths to enhance associate performance.</li> <li>Define and manage architecture IT roadmap for the supply chain domain in line with the IT strategy and overarching Enterprise Architecture roadmap.</li> <li>Execution of Roadmap toward target state.</li> <li>IT Domain strategies aligned with overall IT strategy and business domain strategy.</li> <li>Design of consistent standards, principles, policies and reference models in the area of IT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture including application, security, infrastructure, information/data, data analytics and integration architecture.</li> <li>Lead the implementation of principles, policies, and reference models and monitor KPI's across all TOGAF and business domains.</li> <li>Support solution architects translate IT strategy and reference architectures into domain specific architecture visions and reference models.</li> <li>Govern IT decision making through the application of principles, policies, and reference models to solution review and sign-off.</li> <li>Reference architecture: principles, policies, ands reference models defined and in use. -Quality and number of implemented IT principles, policies, and reference models.</li> <li>Stay abreast of innovations and technology trends within our industry and understand the impact on our organization.</li> <li>Incorporate the innovation agenda into the IT strategy and roadmap to accelerate delivery of the business strategy.</li> <li>Proactively stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends and incorporate in IT roadmap and transition plan.</li> <li>Lead the thinking on trends in emerging technologies and strategies and advice business and IT leaders accordingly.</li> <li>Develop and manage an architecture governance process to ensure compliance to security, privacy and regulatory aspects of all projects.</li> <li>Define the architectural principles and policies by which solution will adhere to the security, privacy, and compliance regimes.</li> <li>Support the program &amp; project delivery teams embed security, privacy, and regulatory needs into the solution designs.</li> <li>Instill financial discipline into the architectural ways of working and ensure that the IT roadmap fits into the financial constraints within which the business is operating.</li> <li>Align the roadmap to the long-range plans and financial budgets of the businesses.</li> <li>Ensure that the TCO implications of architect decisions are factored into the solution choices.</li> <li>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Computer Science, Technical field, Technology and/or Business-related field.</li> <li>Equivalent trainings/certifications/experience equivalency will be considered.</li> <li>8 or more years of equivalent experience in relevant job or field of technology.</li> <li>5 or more years of equivalent experience in an advanced role or technical capacity, leading teams directly or indirectly.</li> <li>5 or more years' experience directly responsible for guiding, training or onboarding team members in relevant technologies, capabilities or skills.</li> <li>Agile Methodology and/or Scrum, Consultancy Skills, Agile Architecture, ArchiMate, Business Case for Architects.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to translate conceptual and strategic thinking into practical solutions.</li> <li>Exceptional verbal, written and visual communication skills.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience interacting, partnering, and influencing at all levels of an organization.</li> <li>Strong experience working in cross functional teams.</li> <li>Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.</li> <li>Leadership and teamworking skills.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br /><br /> <ul> <li>Post-graduate degree advanced training and or certifications in relevant field/s of study preferred.</li> <li>5 or more years' experience in Agile teams and Product/Platform based operating model.</li> <li>5 or more years' experience in leading teams or advancing technical capability in teams.</li> <li>Experience in retail or grocery preferred.</li> <li>Cloud Solution Architect Certification.</li> <li>Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines.</li> <li>Experience with Infrastructure, network and security aspects.</li> <li>Experience with a significant number of supply chain functions such as: Distribution &amp; Transportation, Inventory and Order Management, B2B Integration using EDI.</li> <li>Experience implementing industry leading ERP and non-ERP solutions for these capabilities is highly desired.</li> <li>Experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF) and EA tools (BiZZdesign).</li> </ul>
