Overview: Responsible for Refrigeration, HVAC and Electrical Design Review for Remodels and New Stores for all ADUSA Banners. Specific focus on Sustainability and Race-To-Net Zero Goals.<br /><br />
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Oversee HVAC and Refrigeration designs for remodels and new stores, over 100 annually.</li> <li>Provide Refrigeration Design Recommendations for High Leaker and Conversion Projects.</li> <li>Review and approve Construction Schedules related to refrigeration installation.</li> <li>Provide solutions for design and maintenance related to problems.</li> <li>Business owner/expert for Refrigeration and HVAC Equipment.</li> <li>Provide guidance as matter expert to Engineering Refrigeration, Electrical and HVAC for remodel and new construction.</li> <li>Work with the larger, brand facing Maintenance Teams (Managers/Supervisors/Technicians/Energy Specialists) to maintain Refrigeration, HVAC and Lighting Setpoint Guides to maximize Equipment dependability and Energy Efficiency.</li> <li>Follow up on Refrigeration Commission Process for all remodel and new stores.</li> <li>Support Maintenance Managers/Supervisors/technicians and advise on best practices.</li> <li>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree - BS or 7 + years' experience in supermarket refrigeration and HVAC</li> <li>Knowledge of construction safety &amp; OSHA requirements</li> <li>Must be able to read and interpret plans; specifications; building codes.</li> <li>Must be able to read/interpret/write schedules, and timelines.</li> <li>Proficient in Microsoft applications</li> <li>Experience in utilizing PMWeb</li> <li>Strong technical/mechanical knowledge and background in HVAC</li> <li>Ability to lead and manage a team and large project plan across a wide geography.</li> <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.</li> <li>Ability to travel 30% of time</li> </ul> <strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>2+ years' experience in Engineering design (refrigeration, hvac, electrical, plumbing)</li> </ul>
