Overview: Cloud Platform engineer will serve as a thought leader, work&nbsp;with a team of individuals who are committed to define and deliver cloud solutions by providing security, reliability, availability, and self-service functions which deliver end-to-end cloud platform needs for product development teams.<br /><br />You'll provide strong technical leadership and guidance in deploying and delivering various Azure services.<br /><br />Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.<br /><br />Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Designs, builds, manages, and operate Azure Core Services with automation and infrastructure as code</li> <li>Designs, builds, manages, and operates the continuous delivery framework and tools, manages, and automates the lifecycle of the different platform components and help support product teams</li> <li>Leads a team's engineering practices around test driven and continuous delivery of infrastructure</li> <li>Integrates different components and develop new services with prioritized focus on customer needs</li> <li>Evaluates performance trends and expected changes in demand and capacity; and establish scalability plans</li> <li>Identifies and troubleshoots availability and performance issues at layers of Azure Services and on-prem</li> <li>Recommends and maintains azure policies, governance, cost management guidance and guardrails</li> <li>Create and document low-level designs, as built and standards on confluence</li> <li>Collaborate with Solution architecture, Platform engineering and Product teams for delivering solutions</li> <li>Work within a project management/agile scrum teams in a leading role as part of a wider team</li> <li>Ensure operational stability of a 24/7/365 grocery retail environment by providing technical support, system monitoring, and issue resolution which may be required during off-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, CIS or related (or equivalent related work experience)</li> <li>8 or more years of experience in relevant job or field of technology. Experience in an advanced role or technical capacity. Experience, directly or indirectly, managing, guiding, training and onboarding team members in relevant technologies, capabilities or skills.</li> <li>4+ years of experience building, maintaining, and automating Azure environments in enterprise environments</li> <li>3+ years of experience of with IaC tools (ARM, Terraform, JSON, PowerShell, Github etc...)</li> <li>8+ years of IT experience focused on infrastructure which includes server, storage, network, security, Identity</li> <li>Certification in Azure Administrator -required, Azure DevOps -preferred, Azure Solutions Architect preferred</li> <li>4+ years of hands-on technical experience supporting the following or related experience: <ul> <li>Azure Virtual Network, VWAN, Express route, Load Balancer (L4/L7), Traffic Manager, CDN, Azure DNS, routing &amp; routing protocols like BGP, firewall concepts</li> <li>Azure Identity including any of the following: Azure AD, PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, Azure AD Connect, Password less sign-ins, Microsoft Defender, key vault</li> <li>Azure Governance, Security, Monitoring, Workbooks, Compliance, and cost awareness</li> <li>Azure Virtual Machines, Containers and/or Kubernetes and/or OpenShift (infrastructure pers</li> <li>Netwpective)</li> <li>Azure Storage Account, Disk, Snapshot, Backup, Site Recovery, file sync, Data Lake</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <br /><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Hands on experience deploying Azure Enterprise-scale reference architecture and its components</li> <li>Experience in Full stack Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, and Application Knowledge</li> <li>Ability to work in an Extreme Programming environment and work in a paired programming/engineering model</li> <li>Able to facilitate diverse teams, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet aggressive schedule targets</li> <li>Hands on experience with IaC tools like ADO, ARM, terraform, ansible, PowerShell, python, azcli, github</li> <li>Design, configuration, and maintenance of Kubernetes environments using AKS</li> <li>Technical expertise in Windows/Linux/VMware/Hyper-V/AKS, SQL and N0-SQL DB's, IaaS, PaaS, FaaS, Data, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Identity and Connectivity</li> <li>Worked in DevOps and Agile</li> <li>Experience in Agile teams and or Product/Platform based operating model.Experience in retail or grocery.Experience in leading teams.</li> <li>Masters Degree in relevant field of study, Additional trainings or certifications in relevant field of study</li> </ul> <br /><br />ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $108,880 - $163,320<br /><br />IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $125,200 - $187,800
