Overview: This role is responsible for managing the financial success of multiple high-profile projects and providing guidance and direction to external financial support resources. Creates and implements the project financial forecasts and reports financial performance to leadership. Ensures adherence to project budget plans and advises leadership on strategies to mitigate cost impacts. Collaborates with project delivery teams, corporate finance, and leadership to ensure transparency and accuracy of assigned portfolio. <br /><br /><strong>Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office location is Salisbury, NC. </strong><br /><br /><strong>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.</strong>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Perform IT financial and cost management activities (e.g., budget, forecast, actuals, accruals, material change requests, etc.),&nbsp;</li> <li>Reviews, processes, and manages invoices to confirm accuracy in charges, account coding, purchase orders, journal entries, etc.</li> <li>Supports the project approval or rebalance process and confirm funding allocations are in alignment with the overall annual IT Portfolio budget.</li> <li>Provides project performance metrics and transparency against approved budgets.</li> <li>Communicate the IT Portfolio and Project financial and cost management processes, controls, and tools to project accounting staff and ensure alignment across IT portfolio.</li> <li>Provide guidance on processes and tools to external financial support staff. &nbsp;</li> <li>Identifies and communicates any major discrepancies between planned spend, approved project funding, and actuals&nbsp;</li> <li>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.</li> </ul> <br />&nbsp;
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related business field required.&nbsp;</li> <li>3-5 years experience supporting IT portfolio financial management processes in an agile context, i.e. SAFe&nbsp;</li> <li>Exposure to managing financials in both waterfall and agile project methodology portfolios.</li> <li>Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), standards, and regulations&nbsp;</li> <li>Analytical &amp; problem-solving skills</li> <li>Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills</li> <li>Presentation skills</li> <li>Intermediate Excel</li> <li>Knowledge and the ability to interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, and policies.</li> <li>Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors. &nbsp; &nbsp;</li> </ul> Preferred Qualifications:<br /> <ul> <li>PMP and or SAFe preferred</li> <li>CPA preferred</li> <li>PMP preferred</li> </ul> <br />ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560&nbsp;IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $86,320 - $129,480&nbsp;<br />
