Overview: The Director of Agency Partnership is an integral part of the team and is responsible for accelerating growth in Ad Revenue coming from National Agency on behalf of the CPG clients they represent. Retail Media is expected to capture 1 in 4 ad dollars representing the fastest growing segment of media where 84% of retail media is expected to come from net-new revenue sources. National Media Agencies and Consulting Firms are important funding sources that support advertising and digital retail initiatives. There is a convergence of Shopper and National efforts to drive maximum ROI for a brand and Agency Holding Companies is becoming more influential to amplify and support CPG initiatives with the power of 1st party data allowing brands to reach audiences in a cookie less future.<br /><br />A key aspect of this role is to properly identify key stakeholders across the Agency Holding Companies who are responsible for establishing and allocating ad budgets across Top 25-40 CPG companies. Effectively socializing /evangelizing the importance ADUSA plays to a CPG's overall brand success being a Top 5 Retail Media Network is a key aspect of this role. This role ultimately navigates the complex business planning approach that helps develop a singular view of the customer aligning investments to support the retailer and brand strategies.<br /><br />This role will build advocacy for ADRM capabilities and design MSA agreements with agency benefits, unique opportunities that entice higher spend commitments based on the value and insights we are providing in key areas of focus. This role is responsible for being a liaison to leadership across ADRM Monetization educating on requirements necessary to fully capture investment dollars as well as partner and understand the Agency Processes and technicalities to be considered for investment. Assist in the thought leadership that builds out product solutions that meet the needs of agency through potential Test and Learn Beta executions that can be more broadly adopted to generate revenue.<br /><br />The Director of Agency Partnerships is required to conduct market meetings with the C-Suite and Digital Investment leads at both Corporate and Agency levels responsible for funding that fully blends the brands budget for a true omnichannel activation and educating on why ADRM needs to be considered across key stakeholders. This role requires travel to industry Conferences and Events where key stakeholders are present showcasing the value of ADRM.<br /><br />A key function is to build out agency mapping across Agency Holding Companies: WPP, Publicis, OMG, dentsu, Havas and IPG. In addition to Holding Companies, there are additional marketing companies that have increased influence such as Deloitte Digital &amp; Accenture that influence a CPG investment and also falls within this roles responsibilities.<br /><br />This role will work in collaboration with the ADRM Sales Team to further their efforts to increase annual media investments at the agency level that supports the CPG's omnichannel business and brand-building strategies at the Shopper Marketing and eCommerce channels. This role in partnership with sales team works closely together to maximize ROI and brand spend without creating market confusion and is viewed as a strategic approach as trusted advisors for mutual growth. This role will partner with the Marketing Team to effectively design materials required to support being a Top 5 RMN inclusive of industry research and supporting data points.<br /><br />The Director of Agency Partnerships will be positioned as a part of our growing retail media network team to build Agency &amp; Client relationships in the CPG categories across our vast portfolio of capabilities that are Onsite (Display, SPA, SFV, High Impact) Off-site both through our partner Epsilon and other 3rd parties and At-Store and beyond which includes our connected store capabilities including in-store screens, in store audio and more.<br /><br />ADRM is a part of a global framework connected with peers in our Global Ahold Delhaize Community to develop and deliver best in class retail media.<br /><br />Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Partners with Directors and Sales Team to generate net new funding sources across Top 20-40 CPG suppliers representing the largest COGS across ADUSA.</li> <li>Market research on identified digital spend and size of opportunity across Agency Holding Companies allowing for proper prioritization of efforts.</li> <li>Be viewed as a Trusted Advisor to Agency Holding Companies and their respective CPG partners that leads with data that helps support suppliers' growth across the brands of ADUSA (Food Lion, The Giant Company, Giant Food, Hannaford and Stop and Shop) educating suppliers on the importance of ADUSA.</li> <li>Responsible for Holding Company and Consulting Firms relationship building; establish MSA to promote down to teams and become a preferred partner with benefit program.</li> <li>Utilize existing networks &amp; intelligence tools to identify &amp; contact prospective brand and agency contacts.</li> <li>Offer smart client research, trends &amp; ideas (i.e. valid business reasons) to drive interest &amp; cultivate relationships.</li> <li>Research Holding Co to uncover different rivers of funding (shopper marketing, brand, ecommerce, national media agency) both self serve and managed service solutions with the intent to simultaneously unlock and elevate each relationship.</li> <li>Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, account management, ad operations, creative, analytics, development) to ensure seamless experience for Agency Hold Co and Consulting Firms.</li> <li>Lead internal leadership discussions on market intelligence to support growth in this channel.</li> <li>Track outreach &amp; sales activity pipeline using CRM tool (ie, Salesforce) in collaboration with Sales Team Members identifying net new revenue being generated.</li> <li>Lead Top to Top, QBR and Annual Negotiations with Agency Holding Company with presentations that clearly articulate the ADRM value proposition, opportunity for growth across ADUSA through strategic, data led and value benefit materials.</li> <li>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.</li> </ul>
