Overview: The Cloud Platform Engineer will work on the design, deployment, and operation of Azure cloud services used by product development teams. This role helps ensure the platform is secure, reliable, and scalable through automation and modern engineering practices. The Engineer will work closely with stakeholders and senior team members to implement cloud solutions and continuously improve the cloud environment.<br /><br />Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations are Salisbury, NC; Quincy, MA.<br /><br />Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Designs, builds, manages, and operate Azure Core Services with automation and infrastructure as code.</li> <li>Designs, builds, manages, and operates the continuous delivery framework and tools, manages, and automates the lifecycle of the different platform components and helps support product teams.</li> <li>Work on engineering practices around test driven and continuous delivery of infrastructure.</li> <li>Integrate different components and develop new services with prioritized focus on customer needs.</li> <li>Evaluates performance trends and expected changes in demand and capacity; and establish scalability plans.</li> <li>Identifies and troubleshoots availability and performance issues at layers of Azure Services and on-prem.</li> <li>Recommends and maintains azure policies, governance, cost management guidance and guardrails.</li> <li>Create and document low-level designs, as built and standards on confluence.</li> <li>Collaborate with Solution architecture, Platform engineering and Product teams for delivering solutions.</li> <li>Work within a project management/agile scrum team as part of a wider team.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).</li> <li>Hands-on experience deploying Azure Enterprise-scale reference architecture and its components.</li> <li>Experience in Full stack Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, Operations, and Application Knowledge.</li> <li>Experience with Configuring and maintaining AKS environment.</li> <li>Technical experience in Windows/Linux/VMware/Hyper-V/AKS, SQL and N0-SQL DB's, IaaS, PaaS, FaaS, Data, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, Monitoring, Identity and Connectivity.</li> <li>Worked in DevOps and Agile.</li> <li>1+ years of IT experience focused on infrastructure which includes server, storage, network, security, Identity.</li> <li>1+ years of experience building, maintaining, and automating Azure environments in enterprise environments.</li> <li>1+ years of experience of with IaC tools (ARM, Terraform, JSON, PowerShell, GitHub etc.).</li> <li>At least 1+ years of hands-on technical experience supporting the following or related experience: <ul> <li>Azure Virtual Network, VWAN, Express route, Load Balancer (L4/L7), Traffic Manager, CDN, Azure DNS, routing &amp; routing protocols like BGP, firewall concepts.</li> <li>Azure Identity including any of the following: Azure AD, PIM, Conditional Access, MFA, Azure AD Connect, Password less sign-ins, Microsoft Defender, key vault.</li> <li>Azure Governance, Security, Monitoring, Workbooks, Compliance, and cost awareness.</li> <li>Azure Virtual Machines, Containers and/or Kubernetes and/or OpenShift (infrastructure perspective).</li> <li>Azure Storage Account, Disk, Snapshot, Backup, Site Recovery, file sync, Data Lake.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <br /><br /><br /><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br /> <ul> <li>Certification in Azure Administrator AZ-104.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range:</strong><span xml:lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="normaltextrun">&nbsp;$63,440-$95,160</span></span><br /><br /><span xml:lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><strong>IL/MA/MD/NY&nbsp;Salary Range:</strong></span><span xml:lang="EN-US" data-contrast="auto"><span class="normaltextrun">&nbsp;$72,880 - $109,320</span></span><br /><br />All ADUSA job offers take multiple factors into consideration including, but not limited to salary range, internal equity, a candidate's qualifications, geographic region, job-related knowledge and skills.<br /><br />This position is eligible for an incentive bonus based on company performance as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
