Overview: The overall objective of this role is to drive financial performance by providing research, analytics, and recommendations on complex business modeling, non-standard reporting, and impacts of changing accounting principles to leadership. This position requires vast expertise in accounts payable principles, such as accounting analysis &amp; reporting, accounting controls &amp; audit and invoice/payment process governance.<br /><br />**Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC or Carlisle, PA.<br /><br />**Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Serve as the AP subject matter expert supporting projects related to the ADUSA Finance strategic roadmap, such as P2P initiatives, EDI, etc.</li> <li>Research, analyze, reconcile, audit and summarize financial data for use by management in making finance decisions and resolve accounting discrepancies.</li> <li>Report invoice processing and Payment exceptions that occur within the organization, calculate accruals using business knowledge and extrapolations of historical data or future projections based on probability.</li> <li>Identifies and assesses financial variances based on knowledge and expertise providing insight and advice for senior management and other end users regarding accounting issues that arise from reconciliation or reported financial results.</li> <li>Compiles accurate period, quarterly, and annual reports ensuring accuracy of financial statements, and completes requests for non-standard reports.</li> <li>Serves as a technical resource during internal and external audit processes.</li> <li>Interactions are internal and external to the company at all levels and pertain to project / functional activities. Independently gains cooperation and commitment through personal persuasiveness.</li> <li>Partner with Store Operations, Category Management, VSRM, Information Technology, and all other business partners to identify and solve complex business issues</li> <li>Develop and sustain operational key performance indicators (KPI's) to ensure accurate performance measurement, effective decision-making, and drive continuous improvement</li> <li>Responsible for ensuring the accounting transactions required to adequately report and manage AP &amp; Inventory related accounts in a timely and accurate manner, performing account analysis, and reconciliations of general ledger accounts.</li> <li>Define, develop and execute monitoring controls to ensure effective oversight of the outsourced AP processing partner, including performance tracking, quality assurance, compliance validation, and timely issue resolution.</li> <li>Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>4-5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting or treasury.</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to communicate to all levels of management and outside vendors.</li> <li>Ability to multitask several projects.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills.</li> <li>Customer-centric.</li> <li>Strong Analytical skills.</li> <li>Microsoft Excel.</li> <li>Attention to detail.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>General Accounting knowledge required.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.</li> <li>Power BI.</li> <li>SAP S4/Hanna experience.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><strong>NC/PA Salary Range:</strong>&nbsp;$75,040 - $112,560<br /><br />Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
