Overview: Responsible for daily execution and tracking of freight across the Ahold Delhaize America businesses. Work collectively across all Ahold Delhaize USA&nbsp;banners and Shared Services to ensure that managed freight flows optimally throughout the Supply Chain.<br /><br /><strong>Our hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA and Scarborough, MA</strong><br /><br /><strong>Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.</strong>
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Analyze all Customer Pickup loads delivering into assigned region/s for optimization opportunities&nbsp;and tender to carrier.</li> <li>Check PO notifications from CRP vendors daily to verify correct receipt of all orders, weights, dates &amp; pickup locations.</li> <li>Communicates with vendors and Inventory Analysts on any PO#'s that did not transmit or transmitted incorrectly.</li> <li>Combine multiple PO#'s, adjust weights on PO's, adjust pick up days based on information provided by the vendor and/or as identified by self for DA gain i.e., bracket pricing, efficiency programs, freight expense reduction.</li> <li>Work closely with vendors and Inventory Analysts on any orders that need date changes.</li> <li>Expedite any PO#'s the buyer/vendor may need earlier than requested date-sometimes needing same day pickup.</li> <li>Identify and assist Supply Chain Analytics with possible Customer Pickup opportunities.</li> <li>Responsible for recruiting new carriers to Customer Pickup program.</li> <li>Coordinate all freight claim research, filing and resolution for Customer Pickup loads.</li> <li>Coordinate all drop trailer contracts for all DC's.</li> <li>Work closely with vendor's shipping department to ensure timely loading of trucks for loads to reduce amount of detention.</li> <li>Work closely with carriers to improve on-time delivery performance.</li> <li>Send detailed report daily on Customer Pickup late loads to all buyers, Logistics &amp; all DC's.</li> <li>Assist DC's when they are missing bills for loads.</li> <li>Assist DC's with notifying carriers when envelopes are needed to mail bill of ladings to the carrier.</li> <li>Research past due and balance due invoices from carriers.</li> <li>Take calls from prepaid carriers needing delivery appointments..</li> <li>Assist Truck Appointments when needed to schedule prepaid load.</li> <li>Fax POD requests to vendors and carriers.</li> <li>Maintain fuel surcharge scales for various vendors weekly and monthly.</li> <li>Train carriers to use current TMS system.</li> <li>Continuously search for the most efficient freight rate.</li> <li>Work closely with Team Leaders helping to identify opportunities for optimization.</li> <li>Perform analysis on various lanes (CPU, allowance vs expense, Alternative Product Flow, etc.).</li> <li>Liaison for communication flow with Distribution, Transportation, Category Management and Replenishment.</li> <li>Execute transfers and rush deliveries at the request of Replenishment/Category.</li> <li>Assist in disaster recovery efforts due to natural disaster or weather events.</li> <li>Other projects and analyses to be performed as identified and assigned by Team Leader.</li> <li>Provide support for motivating peers and function as an effective promoter of change and growth.</li> <li>Provide support for the implementation of a continuous improvement culture.</li> <li>Serve as a member of key teams and committees as needed.</li> <li>Responsible for the development, talent planning and performance management of self.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>2+ years of experience as a Logistics Analyst or in a related logistics, supply chain, or transportation role.</li> <li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.</li> <li>Collaboration experience with vendors, transportation providers, &amp; third-party consultants.</li> <li>Experience with the following computer programs:&nbsp;SEGA, DSS, LlamaSoft, WMS, PFT, Inforem, Tableau, Revionics, MSP.</li> </ul> <br /><br /><br /><br /><strong>ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range:&nbsp;</strong>$63,440-$95,160<br /><br />Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
