Overview: The Platform Administrator IV is a senior practitioner who leads complex platform changes, optimizes performance, and advances automation. Responsibilities: <br /> <ul> <li>Lead cluster upgrades, node pool changes, ingress/egress updates, and policy rollouts.</li> <li>Optimize resource utilization and platform reliability via tuning, quotas, and autoscaling.</li> <li>Automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance checks with IaC and GitOps.</li> <li>Implement secrets management, RBAC, and image/security controls aligned to enterprise standards.</li> <li>Manage virtual environments (VMware, Nutanix, Red Hat) and enterprise storage platforms</li> <li>Resolve advanced incidents and mentor junior teammates on troubleshooting and RCAs.</li> <li>Maintain high-quality documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and CMDB accuracy.</li> <li>Monitor SLOs/SLIs, capacity, and health dashboards; recommend corrective actions.</li> <li>Support lifecycle planning (upgrades, deprecation, refresh) and multi-tenant governance.</li> </ul>
