Overview: The SAP Basis Administrator to manage enterprise SAP S/4 HANA systems and SAP Basis environments. The role involves SAP systems administration, performance, upgrades, production support, and migration to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Administer and support SAP S/4 HANA, Fiori, SAP CAR, SLT, BTP, Joule AI, Cloud ALM, Tricentis, BODS, BDC and Signavio systems across production and non-production environments.</li> <li>Perform SAP systems setup, configuration, patching, performance tuning, backup, recovery, and System Replication.</li> <li>Responsible for SAP Basis administration across SAP landscape, including Client copy/refresh, Patches and upgrades.</li> <li>Coordinate SAP kernel updates, support packages, system refreshes, and system copies and Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform daily system checks.</li> <li>Participate in on-call rotations and manage incidents through SAP Cloud ALM.</li> <li>Support SAP landscape migrations and upgrades to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.</li> <li>Support SAP installation, configure, patch, tune, backup and recovery, and System Replication across production and non-production.</li> <li>Responsible for Enterprise SAP operations at scale: 24x7 on-call rotation, daily system checks, incident and problem management in Cloud ALM</li> <li>Responsible for SAP Basis operations and ensure system availability, stability, performance, and security across enterprise SAP landscapes.</li> <li>Manage technical architecture, migration planning, system conversions, cloud adoption, and operational governance for SAP transformation programs.</li> <li>Coordinate mock conversions, dry runs, cutover activities, production migration, hypercare, system refreshes, upgrades, and support pack implementations.</li> <li>Responsible for operation of RISE with SAP Private Cloud; coordinate with SAP ECS/RISE and hyperscaler teams for environment and service management.</li> <li>Configure and administer SAP BTP accounts, entitlements, transport management, identity services, connectivity, destinations, and integrations with SAP and non-SAP applications.</li> <li>Design and support infrastructure sizing, provisioning, cloud optimization, capacity planning, and performance tuning.</li> <li>Manage transport landscapes, client administration, monitoring , technical dependencies, RAID items, escalations, and technical governance.</li> </ul>
Requirements: <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent years of work experience.</li> <li>8+ years in SAP Basis administration across SAP S/4 HANA and other SAP systems.</li> <li>8+ years of enterprise SAP operations, including on-call support, system monitoring, and incident management.</li> <li>Strong experience with SAP performance tuning, System Replication, backup and recovery, patching, and upgrades.</li> </ul> <br /><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong><br /> <ul> <li>SAP S/4 HANA System Administration certifications.</li> <li>Experience with SAP RISE, S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition, BTP, Joule, Integration Suite, IAS and Cloud ALM.</li> <li>Experience with Retail, RISE migrations and SAP GR.</li> </ul> <br /><br />Salary Range: $92,640.00 - $138,960.<br /><br />Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
